Take your jazz dancing to the next level with our Improvers Jazz Technique Workshop!
Designed for adults with some previous dance experience (Improvers level and upwards), this focused session will dive deep into the technical foundations of jazz. Each class concentrates on strengthening and refining the core elements of the style: powerful kicks, dynamic leaps, and precise turns.
You will work on conditioning, flexibility, and proper alignment to execute movements safely and with greater polish. This class is perfect for dancers looking to maintain and advance their technical skills.

ABOUT ZOE:
Zoe graduated from Kingston University with a 1st class BA(Hons) degree in dance. She was president of Kingston University dance society and was also a member of 5 competition teams in Jazz, Hip Hop, Latin, Contemporary and Commercial styles. Zoe teaches at various locations around Leeds and is also part of a new jazz company in London. Zoe performs as a professional dancer as well as teaching dance to all ages. She is also the owner of I'M A-MAZING Dance Parties.

Comfortable clothing, socks or suitable dance shoes. Please bring your own water bottle.

PARKING: Free Evening and Weekend Parking is available in the complex. Monday – Friday 9-5pm – We have a limited number of permit passes. Please check beforehand if these will be available for use. Free On Street Parking is available for 4hrs on Cherry Row and there is also reasonably priced on street parking on Macaulay Street and Mabgate, operated via an app called ‘Ring Go’ (no cash payments). To DSL: Route 42 – Direction ‘Fearnville’ Stop Number 450 10293 (This bus stop is located across the road from the Mill complex on Lincoln Green Road).
To City Centre: Route 42 – Direction ‘Old Farnley’ Stop Number 450 10292 (This is located a few mins walk along Lincoln Green Road).

If you are travelling into Leeds by train we are located a 20-25 minute walk from the station.
