The Dell Out of School Club provides holiday themed activities for children aged 3-11 years old. The activities listed in our programme attached form some ideas of the types of things the children will be doing. We have a large indoor and outdoor play space with a huge variety of toys, games, craft materials as well as bikes, scooters and lots of other sports equipment.
The Dell Out of School Club offers 25+ years’ experience of providing fun and stimulating childcare for primary aged children in the form of breakfast, and after school clubs in two local schools and a holiday club held at Morgans School in Hertford..
The Dell is registered with OFSTED who have rated one of our settings as "Outstanding" and the other as a "Good" provider of childcare. Our experienced teams of staff are led by qualified and dedicated childcare practitioners.
We offer a range of fun, safe and stimulating play activities from sports and games to arts and crafts. During the holidays we structure each weeks programmes to themed structured activities but there is plenty of time for free play. The children are encouraged to join in with the varied programmes of activities and therefore we would ask they leave their phones and tablets at home.
The Dell Out of School Club is registered as a charity and is operated by a Committee of parents and friends of children who attend the club, as well as a strong staff support team. .
The Dell takes the welfare of children very seriously and our clubs are covered by robust safeguarding policies including the vetting of staff with DBS checks and other safeguards. All booking confirmations are subject to receipt of registration information which you will supply during our online bookings process - including emergency and any relevant medical information about your child.

Are there ID or minimum age requirements to enter the event?
This is a holiday club for children aged 3-11 years. The Dell is OFSTED registered to provide childcare to children of this age group only. We require registration information for each child who attends the holiday club in order to provide emergency contact details and details of any other special needs.
What are my transport/parking options for getting to and from the event?
We are around 1 mile away from the town centre of Hertford and parking is available on site to drop off and collect the children who have attended.
What can I bring into the event?
The children will require a packed lunch and a drink - (supper and snacks will be provided). Please ensure they bring a waterproof coat and wear comfortable activity clothes. If sunny sun cream and hat. (Please don’t bring phones, tablets etc).
