This workshop will be held at Walmer Castle Eduction Centre and is aimed at Beginners and anyone wanting to refresh their skills on the basic techniques to get you started in watercolours.
During this relaxed and friendly workshop you will discover a wide range of skills and techniques that will give you the confidence to have a go at watercolour painting, from applying different washes to brush uses and various textural technqiues.
All materials, tea, coffee and biscuits provided. There will be an hour set aside for lunch when you can visit the onsite cafe or bring your own lunch.
Level: Beginner
You dont need to bring any materials, these will all be provided. An hour is set aside for Lunch during the workshop, lunch is not included, you may want to bring a packed lunch or ask the event organiser to book lunch at the cafe for you. There is parking available on site or just across the road in the Walmer English Heritage car park if you have membership. Otherwise, there is free parking along the main road or in the Borrow Pit Car park just 5 mins walk from the venue.
Class sizes are strictly limited, consequently all tickets are non-refundable.

There is free parking available to English Heritage members, some disabled parking is available on site. Free parking is usually available on the main road leading to the castle or in the Borrow Pitt car park on the seafront- about a 5 minute walk from the venue.
