Welcome to out Towcester drum birthing!
We will open the day by creating an ancestral altar, to call those who have come before into the space and then ground with a meditation and intention setting.
Throughout, we will work in ceremony, honouring the hide and the hoop and consciously connecting to our crafting.
Over the course of the day, you will create your own drum with a shamanic style cross shape handle and the option to include a crystal in the handle. As part of our connection to the ancestors we will bind in braids, hag stones, ribbons, feathers and more. Each one placed with intention. We will then make a drum beater.
We will then do a drum journey to connect to the ancestors and ask them to show us the spirit of our drum!
