Cropped Hoodie Workshop (8-14 yrs)

Create your very own cropped hoodie in this exciting 3-day Easter sewing workshop — the perfect project for spring and one of the most popular fashion trends right now!

Students will design and sew a stylish, comfortable cropped hoodie from start to finish, learning key garment-making skills along the way. With our extended 9am–2pm sessions, there’s extra time to focus on details without rushing, making this workshop ideal for both beginners and more confident sewists.

Participants will have the chance to personalise their hoodie using our new embroidery machines (yes, we have two now!), with the option to embroider their name or initials for a truly unique finish.

Depending on experience and ability, students can choose to add:
A zip-down front
A drawstring hood
A front pocket
Embroidered name or initials

This workshop is a fantastic way to build confidence with sewing machines, follow patterns, and create a wearable garment they’ll be proud to take home.

What they’ll learn:
How to cut and assemble a garment from a pattern
Sewing stretch fabrics
Using an embroidery machine
Adding functional details like zips, pockets and drawstrings
Finishing techniques for a professional look
