Adult Classes: Copy your Clothes (18+)

In this class you will learn the skills needed to create your own professional and accurate patterns from items you already own and love. We will go over a variety of techniques and elements such as pockets, collars, trouser crotches, darts, gathers and frills.

You will have the chance to make some working toiles but not to recreate your piece entirely, this workshop is focused on creating and developing a pattern. Do book one of our sewing classes if you'd like to put your pattern into practice.

You are all thoroughly welcome to come and join the fun as staff enable and support you on your creative endeavour. We use domestic machines and teach professional finishes in our hub.

What we provide:
Expert tuition, from practicing pattern cutters, fashion designers etc. who have degrees in relevant art and fashion courses.
The use of new and fully serviced Janome sewing machines, overlocking machines, scissors, tools and threads etc.
