Want to spend more time outside with the kids this summer? Learn how to grow your own? Meet other like-minded parents and kids? A few handy DIY skills or how to craft with natural materials? Well, our new grant-funded Gardening for Good program is the perfect place to start! Based on growing community and improving well-being, these sessions are a fantastic opportunity to get out and spend time in the great outdoors with your children.

🌱 Suitable for ages 4-16
🌱 Parents stay and play
🌱 Running for 6-week blocks for 90 minutes per week
🌱 FREE to attend with plenty of materials to take home
🌱 Unlimited, tea, coffee, snacks (and often cake!)

We'll be covering gardening basics, growing mushrooms, growing microgreens, wildlife gardening, nature arts and crafts, DIY skills and more!

Please come prepared for all weather and check the forecast before you leave.

Car parking is in the main National Trust car park which is free for National Trust members or paid for at the machines upon arrival. Please note that this is available on RingGo, but the signal at Arlington is AWFUL so you're unlikely to be able to put parking on once you get here.
