Join us at Otter Brook to experience the Summer season when our woods are in full bloom!
At Otter Brook we follow our curiosity, with art supplies, a river, den building, campfires and wildlife observation. This holiday club we might catch clues and glimpses of the wild families who live on the land... as our friends otter, deer, badger and beaver are still showing signs of using our woods as their home. Migrant birds like Blackcaps, Willow Warblers, and Chiffchaffs arrived in Spring, while Cuckoos return to the woods as the sun gently warms the land.
Our days are free flow and young people can plan and change the day. With consent based and self directed learning as our way, young people coming to our Wild Holiday Clubs get to make friends, try new ideas, learn and practise new skills and make new friends! As always we will share and offer activities throughout the day, we love letting our creativity flow in the woods. We will have opportunities to work with and learn about plants, their uses and how they can support and help us. We will also make sure there is time to play at the river. River shoes are a must and a change of clothes!
