Menstruation Peer Support Group (rescheduled to 18thJuly!)

Welcome to our Menstruation Peer Support Group - a warm and safe group for people who experience menstruation-related symptoms and difficulties.

If you menstruate this group is for you! You might have a menstruation-related condition, such as PMS, PMDD, PME, PCOS and Endometriosis, or menstrual difficulties independent of a diagnosis, or just want a safe space to talk about your menstrual cycle with people who listen.

The Nest offers a non-therapeutic space where people are welcome to talk about how their menstrual cycle affects their lives. We see it as a community of compassion, and peer support. A friendly community group to connect with others who also face some difficulties. You are invited to come as you are and talk about your experiences, if you want, or just relax in the company of others and know you are not alone.

We meet every first Thursday of the month at 7pm.

Essential ground rules:
*Non-judgemental - people might have different views to you and that’s ok.
*Respect - ourselves, each other and the space.
*Open hearted - trust that everyone is doing the best they can.
*You don’t have to share personal stories but you might need to be prepared to listen.
*Confidential - what’s shared in the café stays in the café (except your own stories that you're free to do what you like with of course!).

This event is organised and hosted by us at The Nest Southwest CIC, and is run on a not-for-profit donation basis to cover admin costs for organising, advertising and running the event.
