Details

Come and join us at The Oak Circus Centre for our All Access Arts SEN Holiday activities! Working with The Garage and local arts practitioners we will deliver a fun, approachable and flexible range of activities including: juggling, trapeze, hula hoops, hammock, slackline and trampette, alongside theatre games, movement and visual arts activities. A free nutritional lunch will also be provided. Sessions are funded by Big Norfolk Holiday Fun and are aimed at SEND children eligible for free school meals. Parents/carers/siblings are welcome to join if they would like, or you can drop off and have time to yourself. Please advise in advance if your child needs 1:1 support so that we can arrange. Please bring ear defenders if your child is noise sensitive as the building is a church and the space is very open. Please inform us in advance if your child is a wheelchair user so that we can best facilitate their access to as many activities as possible.

Please note: a meal is provided as part of the program, please advise of dietary requirements on the booking form.

Instructions

PRIOR TO ARRIVAL

  • Please arrive already dressed for class, easy to move in clothes , ie leggings and top .
  • Bring only essential personal items, and any food must be brought in a sealed plastic container.
  • As the workshops are 3 hours long please bring a water bottle. Hot meal provided please remember to fill in any food requirements.
  • Please let us know if your child has any allergies

ON ARRIVAL

  • Check in with the tutor on arrival, everything is digitized there should be no need to handle paperwork or cash. If you are dropping off your child please ensure that the tutors are aware if someone else is picking them up for safeguarding reasons.

USE OF TOILETS

  • Ensure that you read and abide by notices and staff instructions and signage about bathroom and facilities when using the bathroom.

DURING CLASS

  • Use good hygiene practice – avoid touching your face, wash your hands frequently for 20 seconds, sneeze/cough into a disposable tissue or into your elbow if none are available, avoid touching unnecessary surfaces.

BEFORE LEAVING

  • Take all personal belongings and equipment with you.
