Polks is part of the family of aerial arts taught at The White Studio.
Pole-and-silks is a combination of pole fitness techniques, moves and tricks, with silks, via a bespoke clamp, designed and developed specifically for our studio.
The silks attach to the device clamped to the top of the pole, and come down to the floor in one or two (depending on the class plan and what will be taught on the day) 'posts' (long swathes of fabric).
The silks move with the pole when the pole is on spinning mode.
'Polks' are a fun way to combine two disciplines, and draw on the features of both pole and silks to make for a dynamic, flow-intense class.
This is a class which takes place every four weeks.
Please note that there is a limited number of spaces available, a maximum of 8. A minimum of 48h needs to be given for a refund, which will be done minus 5% payment platform fees, regardless of reason for the cancellation.

Level: MIXED ABILITIES
This event is for women only.
It is advisable to have the top part of your body covered (including long sleeves) for full protection, but pole shorts/bottoms are fine. NO jewellery, NO moisturiser/body cream to be applied 24h before class.

Parking is available on site and is free of charge on Saturdays and Sundays.
Please note that on Saturdays, a parking ticket must still be obtained from the on-site machine to comply with the two-hour time limit. The ticket is free but must be clearly displayed, as it indicates the time of arrival.
