Build a solid foundation, learn core yoga poses, and explore the variety of styles our studio offers. It's the perfect way to find your footing and discover your preferred practice!
Your 6-Week Yoga Introduction:
Week 1: Hatha – Slow, focused practice on alignment and holds (building trust & focus).
Week 2: Vinyasa – Connect breath and movement, flowing from your Hatha foundations.
Week 3: Ashtanga – Learn a structured sequence, sun salutations, and holding poses for strength.
Week 4: Drills – Repeat movements to build agility, strength, and mobility.
Week 5: Kundalini – Focus on breath to reset mind and body (ancient healing).
Week 6: Yin – Deep relaxation with long, prop-supported holds for calm and balance.
By the end of this course, our aim is for you to feel confident, stronger, and ready to step into any class on our timetable.
Welcome to your yoga sanctuary in Olney.
To ensure a peaceful experience for everyone, please note the following:
Entry: Please check the sign in the window before entering. If "Shavasana in Progress" is displayed, please wait quietly outside. When the sign flips to "Welcome," you are free to enter (usually 10 minutes before class).
The Door: Our studio door can be a little stiff, don't be shy, you can give it a push if needed!
Finding Us: We are currently awaiting our "The Yogi Place" signage. Please use the address provided and look for our temporary window sign.
Equipment: High-quality mats, blocks, and straps are provided for all. You are welcome to bring your own mat if preferred.
Yin Yoga Special Note: As we are currently building our bolster collection, for our final class please bring a bed pillow or yoga bolster with you. In this class we want to be warm and relaxed, so feel free to wrap up with comfortable layers and bring along cosy socks for added comfort. Blankets are available, but you are welcome to bring your own for extra comfort if needed.
Hydration: Please bring water with you to stay hydrated.
Please note: Your booking secures your spot for all 6 dates. Due to limited studio capacity, sessions are non-refundable if you are unable to attend one or more of the dates. Thank you for supporting our small studio!
