Local designers Studio Carrom and Vital Arts, the Arts and Health service for Whipps Cross Hospital, would like your help! Later this year they'll be installing a large-scale artwork on the Hoarding along Hospital Road, inspired by the theme of the new hospital building "a hospital within a garden and a garden within a hospital". The artwork will celebrate the natural beauty found around Whipps Cross and you can help shape its design!
Join Studio Carrom and Tinder Sticks as they explore the Forest surrounding Whipps Cross Hospital. Be inspired by Epping Forest in autumn and capture your favourite flora and fauna for Studio Carrom to incorporate into their design. You'll also gather hints and tips on how to capture a great photo. Or you can go micro! Have a go using the microscopes that can attach to your phone camera and study in detail the plants and animals around you.
Throughout this event, you will be inspired by the Forest to take pictures on your smart phone and submit to be part of the hoarding designs around Whipps Cross Hospital later this year. (A camera will be available on the day if you dont own a smart phone).
This event is for over 18's only - if you wish to attend with children, please book our family focused event in the morning.
Assistance dogs welcome but apart from that no other dogs will be allowed at this event.
These events are fully outside with limited cover - please dress appropriately and bring a bottle of water.
