Hi,

I'm Jenni Blackham and I live in Sale with my husband Andy and our two TinyTalkers are Eddie, 7 and Evie, 4.

I studied British Sign Language as part of my linguistics degree, when I had Eddie I hadn't considered it as a way to communicate with him. We started TinyTalk classes and he picked the signs up quickly and rather than getting upset or cross at not being able to tell me what he wanted, he told me. His language flourished and he is now a non-stop stream of words and questions! I signed with Evie from birth and at 2 she had over 150 signs under her belt, she gets cross much less often as she can tell us all what she wants (including her big brother).

TinyTalk classes were by far and away our favourite one, not only did it help with general parenting frustrations, but also the social time during class. As a new mum I thought baby classes was where I'd make friends, instead I rushed in and rushed out again. At TinyTalk I got to meet other like minded parents and have a chat with a brew, with toys for the babies, perfect!

I have enjoyed the benefits of signing with my babies and I am so excited to be able to help other parents to do the same with theirs.
