Details

Join us on what will be a fantastic weekend in Eire hiking some of the best Mountains within the British Isles, with amazing views and some of the best hiking routes if not the best you will encounter within Ireland, all walks led by myself and a local guide at a relaxed friendly pace where we will enjoy the surroundings, take lots of pictures and make fantastic memories.

The weekend starts off on Friday Morning where we all meet for the first time and head up the classic Tomies Mountain, also known as Purple Mountain due to the purple colour the sandstone gives off which the the Mountain is made of.
The walk starts at the Gap of Dunlop and takes us past Coosaun Lough. A total distance of 11 miles and 3255ft Ascent.

Friday night there will be a chance to relax and meet up for a few Guinness in a local bar with traditional Irish music, getting our iron intake for the big day to follow.

Saturday Is the big one :)
We meet at the dedicated car park and then head out to summit 5 fantastic Mountains.
Lyreboy 442m, Caher 1001m, Carrauntoohill 1040m, Beenkeragh 1010m and finally Skegmore 848m.
The route takes us over rocky outcrops, fantastic ridge walks, 4 different lakes and beautiful Irish scenery.
The route is around 10 miles and 3455ft of Ascent.

Sat will be a sit down dinner (optional extra cost) to celebrate completing 2 amazing walks.

Sunday morning depending on weather there will be a hike to Ireland's highest lake Lough Cummeenoughter for a wild swim (lets pray for a summer now :) )
