A one day Guided run over the Snowdonia Mountain Goat Circuit
Led by Trial Runner and road runner David Slater.
About the guide - David has vast experience of the mountains and as a Mountain Leader is a regular on the Mountains.
As a runner David has ran 10km every single day this year for Charity and with his Mountain Leader work has completed over 4000 miles just in 12 months alone.
The Details.
The Rab Mountain Goat Circuit, also known as the Cylchdaith yr Afr Fynydd, is a 51 km mountain running route in Eryri (Snowdonia) National Park, Wales
We start Saturday Morning start 0800 from Joe Browns Capel Curig and take in the following. Moel Siabod 580m, Y Lliwedd 898m, Snowdon / Yr Wyddfa 1085m, Moel Cynghorion 674m.
We then have chance to top up supplies Llanberis where a support vehicle will be waiting to help with any injuries, top up of water and a few snacks.
We then start the 2nd half of the run taking in Elidir Fawr 924m, Mynydd Perfedd 812m, Foel Goch 831m, Y Garn 947m, Glyder Fawr 1001m, Glyder Fach 994m, Y Foel Goch 805m.
We will aim to finish within around 10 to 12hrs but if the group turns out faster then a bonus for everyone.
