Do you want to take your carpentry and woodwork skills to the next level??
Always wanted to know how to use certain power tools?
Have you ever felt intrigued and wanted to use power tools but didn't quite know where to start?
We have exciting news! We are running our first course for women using exclusively hand held power tools to make a small wall shelf with drawer.

You will be inducted in the use of :
We will be learning at the Woodlab in Dartington, which is a fully equipped workshop with the necessary dust extraction for the machinery.
There will only be 6 places on this course, which means that you will have plenty of attention from the 2 tutors and access to all the machines needed!
This course is suitable for you if you are a confident beginner or have used hand tools in woodwork before.
If you have been on one of our carpentry courses, this course would be a great next step.
All materials are included and PPE (personal protective equipment) will be provided.
If you already have your own PPE ( dust mask, ear defenders), then please bring this along.
Please make sure to wear sturdy shoes!
If you have any power tools of your own, you are welcome to bring them along and we will go over them and show you how to use them in a safe way.
Level: Beginner, intermediate
This event is for women only.
Please wear sturdy shoes. Bring a face mask (optional), a note book and a packed lunch. There will be tea and coffee making facilities and biscuits available.
