The Knit and Knatter group is a welcoming and friendly community space where people of all ages and skill levels can come together to enjoy knitting, crocheting, and other crafts. It’s more than just a crafting group — it’s a place to chat, share ideas, learn new skills, and make new friends in a relaxed and supportive environment.

Whether you’re a beginner looking for guidance, an experienced crafter wanting to share your knowledge, or simply someone who enjoys a warm and sociable atmosphere, Knit and Knatter is the perfect place to unwind, be creative, and connect with others.

Join us for a cup of tea, a laugh, and plenty of yarn!

Instructions

Arrival: Please arrive a few minutes early so we can get settled and start on time.

Materials: Bring your own knitting, crocheting, or crafting supplies. Beginners are welcome—extra materials may be available on request.

Refreshments: Tea, coffee, and light snacks may be provided. Feel free to bring your own if you prefer.

Respect & Safety: Please be considerate of others. Keep the space safe by handling needles and tools responsibly.

Participation: Join in the chatting, sharing, and crafting! Don’t worry about skill level—everyone is welcome.

Clean Up: Help us keep the space tidy by clearing your area before leaving.

Questions & Help: If you need assistance with a project or technique, ask a group member or facilitator—they’ll be happy to help.

Heathfield Community Centre is based within Heathfield Park which is just off Ventnor Rise, a residential street and is not easily visible from the road.
To access the Centre, drive down the small road (between no 7 and no 9) and park within the park.
NOTE: parking within the grounds is essential as Ventnor Rise is residential parking ONLY.
