This mini ‘essentials’ course is ideal for puppies who have completed a Puppy School Maidenhead course, for those would like to brush up on some general training skills or for those completely new to training. Training level: beginner/improver.
During the 3-week course you will learn some essential training techniques on how to teach your dog to pay attention to you, come back when you call, walk on their lead without pulling, greet people without jumping up and more!
The classes are tailored to suit you and whatever stage your dog is at with appropriate progression each week. Fun and friendly classes.
Puppy and dog training using modern, reward-based training techniques. Advice, support and guidance from an experienced, qualified and accredited trainer and clinical animal behaviourist.

Instructions
Please bring:
your dog wearing a normal flat collar or harness (harness preferred) and a fixed length lead. Please do not use an extender lead in class.
some bedding for your dog to settle on.
a bottle of water and a bowl for your dog to drink from.
lots of small tasty training treats - soft meaty treats often work best.
a filled Kong to help your dog settle around the other attendees.

Please make your way into the community hall either via the main entrance or through the small fenced garden at the rear.
There is plenty of free car parking available at the centre. If you find that the car park is full, please drive past the main entrance doors, turn left and park on the grass.
