During these workshops you will better understand the relationship between the body and the breath.
You will find out how to support the breath with exercises and massage techniques.
You will learn about the anatomy of the breath and how it supports us by keeping us healthier and happier. Exploring breathing patterns and Pranayama (breathwork) practice you can discover how the breath can effect you.
In part one we will have a slow physical practice followed with some slow and steady breath work along with some sound (ujjayi) and see what effect that has on us.
In part two we will explore massage and how we can physically help the breath with realising certain muscles. Following with some gentle release postures and then some more dynamic breath work using holds and pauses between the breath.
In part three we will explore the breath in a more dynamic way before the physical practice and see how it feels, to move after opening up the breath.
I have relocated these workshops to Nimble Studio due to the cold weather
There is a 10min walk through the countryside to the cob house which I have allowed for within the timings for the event.
This can be a stand alone workshop or you can book in to all three. I will offer a concession if you want to book into all three.
There will be hot tea on offer at each session to keep you and your breath warm.
