Join Trinity Dance at The Assembly Hall Theatre on Thursday 4th June 2026 for our 'Colour In Motion' community show.

This event is open to all primary schools, secondary schools and performing art groups in the Tonbridge / Tunbridge Wells areas. The show is an opportunity for local children with or without dance experience to perform on a theatre stage in a non-competitive environment to family and friends.

Dress rehearsals 9am - 6pm
Evening show 6.30pm - 8.30pm

By registering here you are securing your school or groups place in the show. Booking forms and further information will be released at the end of February 2026.

Instructions

Routine requirements:

  1. Pupils can be in any year group (KS2 advised)
  2. Routines can be in dance, cheerleading or musical theatre (no singing)
  3. Maximum 25 performers in each group
  4. All children MUST have parental photo consent to enter this event. The show will be professionally filmed and photographed
  5. Each routine can be no longer than 5 minutes long, including medleys
  6. You must be available to attend a dress rehearsal on the same day between 9am and 6pm (not essential but strongly advised)
  7. Maximum 3 members of staff to attend backstage - this is not a ticket to watch the show

Information about the theme:

  1. All music choices must be related to a colour, you can focus on one colour or multiple
  2. A spreadsheet will be shared amongst all registered groups to inform others of the song you have chosen and to avoid music being repeated in the show
  3. All songs will need to be edited by yourself and sent exactly as required
  4. No inappropriate language or references in your music
  5. Feel free to be as creative and over the top as you wish! Including props, costumes and choreography. Everything must be disclosed on the booking form.

Entry Fee:

£150.00 for one routine
£200.00 for two routines

Each school or group will be required to pay an entry fee to perform at the show. PESSP can be used to pay for this and will be invoiced to you in Term 5.

Tickets to watch will be going on sale Friday 24th April 2026 on the Assembly Hall Theatre website.
