These online workshops are designed for all members of staff, school leaders and governors

The workshops support us all as we seek to address racial injustice and asks;
"Why does it matter to us here in Cornwall and what can we do?"

The first session will include a presentation from Emily Norman (CEFEL) asking 'Why do we need to include anti-racism in our schools?' Professor Paul Miller (Educational Equity Services) will explore the questions 'Why do we need to do this, why in Cornwall and why now?'

During the second session Aleisha Lewis will look into 'Why should anti-racism be included in the curriculum' and Domini Leong (BAMEED SW) will lead a session on 'Where to make a start'

Instructions

Join the workshops via Zoom, commencing at 4 pm.

Session 1 - Tuesday 15th February with Professor Paul Miller and Emily Norman
Session 2 - Wednesday 16th February with Aleisha Lewis and Domini Leong

The sessions are free to attend and will last around 3 hours. You can choose to attend session 1 or session 2, or why not join both.
