Turning Earth Highgate
UPSTAIRS CLASSROOM WITH STAIR ACCESS ONLY
Teacher: Linda Barck

Plan a mini London 'staycation' and get creative in our beautiful North London studio.

In this course at the Turning Earth Highgate studio, students will learn everything you'd get in our 12-week course - plus some extras - in a single week. It's a great way to get going in the craft quickly without the commitment of a weekly time slot. This course is great for both beginners and students with some experience.

To make things even more interesting, we have added an extra Raku firing day at the end of the course. We will fit as many pieces as possible in the kilns but this can vary according to the size of the pieces that participants make. We would expect every participant to be able to fire 2-3 pieces each (30 cm max height).

Please note, this course includes two optional glazing/firing sessions. The 'regular' glaze will happen on the afternoon of Saturday 14th September, 3.30-7.30pm. The raku firing will happen on Sunday 15th September, 11-4pm.
For some people who travel to attend the course and it is not possible to attend the glazing session, we will glaze your work for you at no extra cost.

This course covers both hand-building techniques and wheel throwing.

Please ensure you are able to attend as many days of the scheduled course as possible before you sign up.

Thank you, and happy potting.
