For anyone who has completed a UK Sniffer Dogs BRONZE or SILVER Workshop or Course.
This could be your first time or you could be trying to scramble your way up that leader board and better your previous score!
Closer to the date you will be given a time to attend the site for your 15 minute slot.
As in your BRONZE mock trial you will need to find:
1 hide: 6-8 bags, one minute
2 hides, 6-8 chairs (or bench), 2 minutes
3 hides, novel search area, 3 minutes
2 hides, vehicle search, 2 minutes
5+ hides = pass
6-7 hides = merit
8 hides = distinction
SILVER Trial consists of:
3 hides: Chairs and bags, 3 minutes
4 hides, Novel environment, 4 minutes
2 hides, vehicle, 2 minutes
Active search - retrieve, 1 minute
6-7 hides = pass
8-9 hides = Merit
10 hides = distinction
Delivery to hand on retrieve earns a minus 20 seconds on their time.
Please bring everything that you would bring to a scent detection lesson plus some water for your dog.
