Our inclusive play sessions are free play sessions, designed to be accessible and inclusive for young people with additional support needs. The session will be run at a quiet site within Muiravonside country park, with access to on-site toilets and a disabled toilet which includes changing facilities.
The Easter session is for children with Additional support needs with friends or family welcome, running between 10.30am - 2.30pm, The site will be clearly marked so as long as you are booked you can arrive and leave anytime within this time frame.
Thanks to Fairer Falkirk this is a funded session and will be free to attend. The session is also “free play” based which means the session is not a structured one. We provide equipment in the form of stations to engage with the attendees, allowing them to explore the area and use what is available as they please. .
To ensure we have the most suitable equipment available, there is an “about me” section to be filled in when booking your session. The completed form shall be made into a booklet and will be kept within the first aid box at the session. It will be available at each session you attend, should you want to see it, for notes, feedback or any changes to be made. This allows us to continue to provide the best possible equipment and environment to meet the individual needs of the attendees.
Please make sure you book an adult ticket along with the attendee ticket so we can keep a track of attending numbers. Unfortunately at the moment there is no way to remove the about me section from the adult ticket booking, please just write n/a in the relevant areas.

I am a qualified Forest school leader who is Autistic and also diagnosed ADHD. I have a background in supporting children with various needs, including trauma, within a school environment, as well as personal and parental experience.

The meeting place for the session is outside the toilet/cafe where there is also disabled parking available. The site will be signposted from this spot, however if you are unsure on the day please give me a call on 07458303048
Sessions are outdoor based, please ensure you are dressed for the weather and bring a drink as playing can be hard work!
