Nature Health Walk & Lunch ~ Plean Country Park

We are very excited to be offering a series of nature health walks in the coming weeks and months. We will be trialling walks in a few different locations so keep your eyes open for other walks in and around Stirling.

The meeting point for this series of walks is at the car park for Plean Country Park accessed off Cadgers Loan. There is ample parking and also toilets available. Please note that there are currently roadworks on Cadgers Loan and the Country Park can only be accessed from the Plean Village end of Cadgers Loan and not from Bore Row.

There is also a bus stop that stops in the main village in Plean. If you would like advice on getting from the bus stop, please get in touch.

The walk is short, less than 2 miles and will be a maximum walking time of 1 hour. The pace of this walk is aimed at beginners. Most of the walks will be on paved paths, with some stretches along narrower paths which could be muddy. We would recommend sturdy walking shoes or boots at each event. The walks will be predominantly flat but there are some gentle inclines throughout the park. Don't worry, we'll take our time on these stretches.

The walk is likely to go ahead in inclement weather such as wet/cold weather so please come dressed prepared, with plenty of layers and a waterproof layer.

Nature ID guides will be provided for those who are interested.

An optional FREE lunch of soup and rolls will be provided for participants at the end of the session along with seats so that you can sit and enjoy some company.
