Hobbs Pavilion, Park Terrace, Cambridge, CB1 1JH
6 spaces available
Mindful meander (Parkers Piece)

Details

Join our mindfulness facilitator and health walk leader Tansy, to learn the basics of mindfulness before putting this into practice on a meander around the locality of Parkers Piece.

The walk will be at a gentle pace with the aim of increasing your awareness of your surroundings rather than on increasing pace or fitness. The walk will last a maximum of 60 minutes and will be adjusted as required to the abilities of the group. The walk is suitable for those who use walking aids, although please be aware that access to the pavilion is via some steps. The lift that bypasses the use of the steps is unfortunately currently out of action and therefore access to the pavilion is limited to those who cannot use stairs.

We will meet on the terrace at Hobbs pavilion, before accessing the pavilion for an introduction to mindfulness practice and then taking a walk as a group.

Instructions

Please wear clothing and shoes appropriate for the weather. Closed toe shoes are a must.

Please also ensure that you have any emergency medication on your person at all times.
