Join us on Sunday, 25th August 2-5pm
for a fun filled , 3 hour willow weaving workshop to create your own bespoke willow flower
You will spend the afternoon with local crafter, Heather McDermott, using sustainable willow grown in our own Saille Garden, 🌿 Heather will guide you through the various traditional basketry techniques required to create a large willow flower for your garden or for you to give as a gift.
Bring a partner or a friend for a memorable afternoon
The workshop is aimed at beginners or those with some experience.

As this experience may be held both indoors and outdoors, depending on the weather, please dress appropriately

🌿Drive 3.9 miles from Holywood along the A2 Belfast Bangor dual carriageway
Or Drive 4.1 miles from Bangor along the Bangor Belfast dual carriageway
🌿Take the Helens Bay turn from the A2 onto Craigdarragh Road
🌿Drive 0.7miles down Craigdarragh Road - you will see the Walled Garden on your left
🌿Take the next left hand turn down a laneway – there is a stone wall with a large white house on the left hand side. This turn off will be signposted for the workshop
🌿Continue down the laneway and turn immediately right into our 'new' carpark
🌿Walk back up the laneway and turn right into Old Mill House where the workshop will be held
