If you, like me, would like to impress your guests and serve your homemade scones on a hand woven willow platter 😁..or even do a 'Hyacinth Bouquet' using it as a charcuterie platter filled with cheeses artisan meats anddeliciuos seasonal fruits🧀🍓🍐...

Then join us in the Walled Garden for a relaxed, willow weaving workshop and create your own bespoke willow ‘tension tray’ or platter

The workshop is on

Saturday 28th September 10am -3.30pm

You will spend the day with experienced local crafter, Heather McDermott, who will guide you through the various traditional willow weaves, and practical processes involved using our homegrown sustainable willow from our Saillie garden 🌿

The workshop is suitable for beginners and those with experience alike... so come along .. bring a partner or a friend for a fun filled, memorable day in the garden

Instructions

As this experience may be held both indoors and outdoors, depending on the weather, please dress appropriately

A premail will be sent in advance of the workshop with directions etc

Please be advised of our cancellation policy - If cancellation is one calendar month before the event, we can offer a 100% refund, otherwise there is strictly no refund unless the ticket can be sold on or given to a third party

🌿Drive 3.9 miles from Holywood along the A2 Belfast Bangor dual carriageway
Or Drive 4.1 miles from Bangor along the Bangor Belfast dual carriageway
🌿Take the Helens Bay turn from the A2 onto Craigdarragh Road
🌿Drive 0.7miles down Craigdarragh Road - you will see the Walled Garden on your left
🌿Take the next left hand turn down a laneway – there is a stone wall with a large white house on the left hand side. This turn off will be signposted for the workshop
🌿Continue down the laneway and turn immediately right into our 'new' carpark
🌿Walk back up the laneway and turn right into Old Mill House where the workshop will be held
