Join me as the days shorten, the nights darken and we move into winter for a day to nourish body and mind. This is the time to turn inwards, slow down and rest deeply. Expect intention setting, heart opening work, and an invitation to practice with acceptance, love and compassion.
This day will include pranayama (breathing practices), meditation, movement and relaxation leaving you nourished, well rested and rejuvenated. The cost of the session also includes a tasty vegan lunch, tea and snacks, and a goody bag to take away at the end of the day.
The morning will include more dynamic practices, slow flow and yin-yang style yoga, After lunch we will slow right down moving into a deeply relaxing practice combining Yin and Restorative postures, and finishing with Yoga Nidra (yogic sleep). As we move through the restorative poses, we use blankets, blocks, cushions and other props to deeply support each posture. The more fully your body is supported, the deeper your sense of relaxation and surrender. And the more fully you surrender, the greater your ability to release physical and emotional stress.
Release stress, release anxiety, release whatever it is that no longer serves you, and return to a state of harmony and well-being. Allow yourself to flourish.
Women of all ages are welcome, no prior yoga experience necessary.
This event is for women only.
Please bring along some pillows, cushions and blankets, plus any yoga blocks or bolsters that you have. You may also wish to have a notebook or paper and pencil. I will send out detailed information about the day a week or so before the date.
