Please read all the below information and FAQ's before booking your place xx

What is Sound / Gong bathing ?

These sessions provide the space and sounds for you to relax at a profound level. This allows your body to find its natural balance and your energy systems to recalibrate . Sound bathing goes as far back as the times of ancient Greek philosophers, who used the frequencies as a form of medicine to treat a myriad of ailments. The waves of sound (which are produced by the instruments are said to calm the nervous system and balance the subtle body. In addition this holistic practice of sound bathing has also been known to work wonders for stress relief, insomnia, anxiety, chronic pain, and even depression.

What should I expect?

Upon arrival you will be greeted and asked to sign in on the register of attendees. You will be shown to an area to set your cosy nest to relax into.

The room is candlelit and cleansed with sage, everything is in place for a peaceful, relaxing time together.

We will begin with a short relaxation technique to help relax and settle you ready for the Sound/Gong Bath.

Instruments are then usually played for an hour , this can consist of all or a combination of Therapeutic drumming, Crystal Bowls, Himalayan Bowls, Gongs, chimes, tuning forks.

Most of the instruments are played from one place but occasionally they are brought around the room and always played in a manner to keep you in a peaceful and mindful state of being.

It is during this deep relaxed time between sleep and consciousness that it is reported to feel like being in a dream state.

After approximately 50 minutes you are then gradually brought back to the present moment with the use of grounding instruments such as rattles, chimes, shakers and rainsticks.

Every session is finished with an opportunity to reflect on your experience and connect with each other building a supportive community .
