DAY 1
Meet 9am at a lovely fresh food farm shop just North of Richmond for an amiable & very needed hearty breakfast washed down with some age-reducing & God-like driving inducing coffee
A few “hello’s” to your travelling companions and a safety briefing sees us heading “North of the Border” not later than 10am on curling routes that take us through Yorkshire, Durham, and Northumberland, the home of some of England’s finest roads.

We plan some good wee & tea breaks at car friendly establishments, such as The Crown at Humshaugh so that once back in your cabin, you can enjoy a blast through the winding challenges of Keilder Forest.
The miles of uninterrupted tarmac of Keilder made famous through The RAC rally of our childhood, ensure you are fully awake now and your driving skills have had a bit of sharpening. Circa 2pm we have a decent lunch stop just shy of Edinburgh and you will be grinning…. For sure
More road fun await you as does the jaw-dropping sight of the Queensferry Crossing Bridge.

Once past Edinburgh, you are in proper Scotland & this is a day on which your new found friends & fellow rainbow snake colleagues start to question your driving ability, car colour choice & willingness to be first to the bar, although the Mitex radios can also be used for guidance, support & general lame humour all of which assist your swift passage
You’ll have access to the radio on/off button but will doubtless quietly be enjoying taking all this in whilst honing along never-ending ribbons of the appealing black stuff! We zoom through the bottom end of the stunning Cairngorms to our first hotel of the trip, the enchanting Dalmunzie Castle

Dating back to 1510, Dalmunzie Castle Hotel lies in the south of the Cairngorms National Park. This hotel offers high-quality dining and features an elegant library and lounge.
All rooms have amazing views of the gardens and mountains. The rooms have an en-suite bath and shower
Dining at Dalmunzie Castle Hotel has been repeatedly recommended in the Michelin Guide, with dinner served in the expansive dining room overlooking the lawn. We often take our private dining in their library
An award-winning wine list and more than 100 malt whiskies are also on offer to help you “relax”

DAY 2
Impressed yesterday? Well today will blow your mind as we begin with a visit to our Kings Balmoral Castle for some photos you will want to pop above the fireplace before we begin to burn fossil fuels aplenty as we weave around proper Scottish Highlands and through the almighty Cairngorms!
WWOW promise that this road will live in your mind forever.

Whizzing by Lochs & Castles may even by now have become common place but they are no less impressive. These beautiful highlands and lowlands will be taking us North past the very edges of Inverness. Skirting over to Loch Shin for lunch in Lairg we perch ourselves on the very edge of the Loch for a great bite to eat at The Pier
We are well North now… bring a coat, a hat and maybe your Paddington Bear scarf too! As we head to our the most northerly point of our craggy piece of rock for that all important picture, we assemble the cars at John o Groats! We will find it difficult to shop here as the levels of cheap tat', fridge magnets and tartan bonnets are endless and ...most likely useless
But, hey.. You’ve done it! And a few miles further at Bettyhill you will need to be rewarded with a lovely overnight stop at an Award-Winning hotel which clings on to this stunning coastline.

The Bettyhill Hotel will look after you as we swap stories over dinner, having competed the easy half of the NC500

Day 3

We are now firmly on the NC500 route & follow the Western coastline all whilst trying to keep our eyes on the road and iPhones in our pocket along our pre-determined routes. You will have noted by now that the scenery is simply stunning, as are the roads!

We press onto into the very top left of Scotland to complete the most Northerly NC500 routes before dropping down the coast into Ullapool for a late sun harbour photo & maybe a coffee pre continuing this epic route to the very edge of a salt water Loch.
We are heading towards one of the few remaining shooting lodges in Scotland. What makes our next hotel so enchanting is the beautiful location right on the waterside. Perched perfectly next to a sparkly bay, where boats come and go and seals frolic, Shieldaig is unique in so many ways. Bursting with character and charm, this lochside retreat has been known to capture hearts, offering a place to call home for many.
The Times calls Sheildaig Lodge "the ultimate highland hideaway"

THE ONE REMAINING Luxury Package is at Gairloch Hotel - 9 minutes from Sheildaig Lodge where we dine - WWOW will provide transport

DAY 4
We've covered some miles by now and yet perhaps the best is yet to come.... The Applecross Pass – or Bealach na Bà – was once a drovers' road, worn out of the mountainside by cattle, not cut by machines for other machines. As such it's narrow, windy and steep. Very steep. In fact, with inclines of one in five, it's the steepest in the UK and often referred to as Britain's Stelvio Pass.

It's a major part of the NC500 and definitely a road that needs to be ticked off your Supercar Adventures bucket list.
Once back down from the mountains a quick wizz Eastwards sees us complete the NC500, so we cruise alongside Loch Ness and (monsters allowing!) we head towards Ben Nevis & Fort William
We take a late lunch in the idyllic Isle of Glen Coe Hotel ...and this sets us up for the big afternoon!

WWOW have been many times, but there is simply nothing like the iconic SKYFALL Road. You will get goosebumps standing in Daniel Craigs & Dame Judy Dench’s shoes - not literally obvs… but this is the spot. It's a stunning place and a fantastic photo' op that genuinely lives forever in the memory
On previous trips we have captured all the cars in the right spot so that just for a brief moment you feel like a member of MI6, backed up with a decent set of wheels!

Pics in the bag, we have planned an epic end to the day! A relaxed 90 minute bumble or short sprint to one of the finest hotels…Jeremy Clarkson voice please… “In The World!”
The Award Winning and beautifully located Cameron House Hotel awaits you - we have saved the best for last!

We will take Pre-Dinner Drinks at 6.45pm in The Great Scots Bar and Dinner at 7.45pm in The Cameron Grill which serves local salmon and beef amongst its enticing range.

The restaurant is at the heart of the hotel with wonderful views across Loch Lomond.
The setting is intimate, elegant, and welcoming, keeping in style with the décor throughout Cameron House.

Cameron House Hotel which offers 5-star luxurious en suite bedrooms, a championship golf course, rooftop infinity pool and award winning estaurants. Beds are adorned with Egyptian cotton sheets, bathrobes and free Arran Aromatic toiletries are also provided.
The rooftop infinity pool has spectacular views over Loch Lomond. There is an exclusive spa featuring 17 treatment rooms.

DAY 5
A later start? Yes, I think so!
Some early morning traffic avoided by taking pics and generally taking it easy (or maybe the gym??)
Some early Scottish twists await you as you head south over the River Clyde.
We motor our way around Glasgow the very edges of which hasten our departure from Scotland. Once south of the city and a short motorway burst behind us, this is a day on never-ending ribbons of the appealing black stuff, sweeping us down through The Beautiful Borders, heading South to Moffat for a rejuvenating coffee stop.

From here many will bid goodbye & head South of the Scottish border in search of the quick M6 for the North West of England.
Others (known as the lucky ones!) will still have some fine Northumberland countryside to enjoy as we take one of England’s finest roads from Alston all the way down to a short lunch stop at Middleton in Teesdale
Refreshed we have a bunny hop of a drive as we head onto the A1M to Wetherby & alas, here our Scottish adventure officially stops
Complete strangers are now best friends, promises are made to meet again.
You will have many stories to tell & have shared adventures that will last for life

“Sometimes, the most profound journeys aren’t measured in miles but in moments.
Our trip was enriched by the joy of forging new friendships and the warmth of reuniting with familiar faces.
These days weren’t just a pause, but a genuine recharge.
Amidst the thrill of supercars, it was the heartfelt connections and shared laughter that made everything truly memorable”
