Details

Join the Wheat Weaver Carol Partridge to learn about one of our vanishing country crafts. Symbolic of fertility and good fortune corn dollies were once a common sight particularly at harvest time. You will be introduced to a range of designs from around the British Isles (and further afield), hear stories associated with them and briefly discuss the materials and techniques used. Most of the workshop, however, will be spent making a selection of examples for you to take home!
