A weekend of activities, fun, adrenaline, laughter, cake and new skills.
Designed specifically for YOU, the adventurers wanting to play and meet new people ..this weekend will have it all.
🏄 Paddleboarding - learn to paddleboard. Or, improve any skills you do already have.
•Monster Paddleboarding - have you got the skills to be the last paddler standing on this board that takes ten people in one go?!
Lots of games and fun whilst learning the entire time we are out on the water.
💦 Ghyll scrambling - the most ridiculous amount of fun had whilst sliding down waterfalls, jumping into pools, perfecting your belly flops, slithering techniques and general wet crazy fun.
Ghyll - a Norse word for mountain stream.
We shall wander uphill for roughly 15 minutes. Once we have got ourselves wet in the ankle deep 'getting in pool' we shall slide, jump, flop, float and drift our way downstream.
Non swimmers, or nervous water people. Do not worry. You do not need to be able to swim for this. We will put bouyancy aids on you for a bit of extra reassurance, and you can stand up all the way.
🧗♀️ Via Ferrata Extreme - ladders, bridges, scrambles, steps and rock faces and a sky ladder lead up the side of Honister crag. Twice the height of the shard. . If you're a city person and need to have something to compare to, this activity originated in the Italian Dolomites.
Via ferrata means Iron Way in Latin. And it's exactly that. Metal rungs, ladders and steps, all the while you're attached to a big steel cable. Totally safe. An adrenaline booster for sure. But. . . You can do it. All of you 😘
Each activity is a half day.
We shall do two on Saturday, and one Sunday morning, leaving you free to make your way home after lunch.
You will have fully qualified, insured and experienced staff to look after you all for each activity.
This weekend is fully accommodated. The rooms are bunk rooms on a shared basis, but we have a big place to spread out.
As a qualified chef, Hayley will provide catering for the entire weekend!
All you have to do is turn up, have fun, laugh, get wet, maybe a little scared, try your best and relax.
Everything will be taken care of.
All equipment will be provided for the various activities.
The weekend will take place at Hawes End. We have the big house.
