Guided walking ticking off some of the peaks made famous by Alfred Wainwright's list.
The fantastic Riggindale up to High Street is a wonderful walk with splendid views of Haweswater.
Starting from Mardale Head, the little historic village of Mardale itself is now under water, flooded to make the Haweswater reservoir. The namesake continues and there is a small parking are here.
Ticking off High Street, Mardale Ill Bell, Thornthwaite crag and dropping down past the lovely hidden small water will make this a fantastic day out with stunning views.
