Details

Ladies - This is a meet for members of the Women's Alpine Adventure Club.

This weekend is based in the Lake District - with accommodation and catering included.

Think bunkhouse style - you need to bring your own bedding, yet fully fed whilst you are here.... Three meals a day with plenty of cake, traybakes and savoury snacks.

Now the important part... The mountains! Over Saturday and Sunday we aim to provide a variety of rocky adventures.

We have the following availability -

4 x Places Mountaineering (advanced roped scrambling) (2 days)

12 x Places for Introduction to scrambling (grade 1) - with a link up of routes in Langdale and,
Via Ferrata introduction at Honister, half day followed by half day rock skills workshop at a
single pitch crag. Learning confidence moving from inside the climbing wall to outside on
rock, body and foot movement, placing and retrieving gear. Building belays. Personal
climbing with some coaching.

You can do 2 sessions (a full day) of rock skills if you prefer not to V/F.

If we see the demand for advanced scrambling increase we will look to change the staffing to accommodate this.

We are looking to be joined by all abilities and welcome all of you lovely ladies. We aim to accommodate the skill level that you are at, and develop it further.

The Cost includes;
