Join us for our Autumn trip to Faversham.
Faversham is Kentās oldest market town. Itās famous for its independent shops, listed buildings and a Charter Market that has been trading for over 1000 years. The market features local produce, crafts & clothing and is considered excellent for local bread, cakes, cheese & cider.
Britains oldest brewery Shepherd Neame is located in the town, close to the picturesque Faversham Creek.
Optional trip extra - Take an 80 minute tour, visiting the Old Brewery Store which houses historic delivery vehicles, a recreated coopers workshop and bygone pub signs. The tour ends in the Visitor Centre bar with tutored tasting of some ales and lagers. There is also a brewery shop for all your take homes!
Plenty of time to wander around this medieval town - check out the history, grab a bite to eat and wash it down with a local brew before we get back on the coach and head to our next stop.
Newnham Court Shopping Village is a small, popular retail village on the outskirts of Maidstone. Have a browse around Notcutts Garden Centre, Bon Marche, Cotswold Outdoors, Cotton Traders, Edinburgh Woollen Mill & Pavers or grab an afternoon tea/coffee at Bricks or Coffee Corner. There is also the Newnham Court Inn if you fancy time out from shopping with a pint or a glass of vino!
