Join us around the campfire, take some you time and speak to other male carers at our ‘carer in the wilderness Bushcraft sessions.

“Carers into the Wilderness” goes beyond just being a bushcraft course. Each week we will lean new bushcraft skills, take some me time and look at what it means to be an Man in a caring role.

What to Expect:

What to Expect: Bushcraft: Learn essential bushcraft survival skills from seasoned wilderness guides. From shelter-building to firecraft, you’ll gain hands-on experience that not only connects you to nature but also empowers you with practical skills.

Personal Exploration: This isn’t just about surviving in the wild; it’s about thriving in your own life. Through carefully crafted activities, reflection sessions, and solo time in nature, you’ll delve into your true self, rediscover your values, and unlock the potential for personal growth.

You Time: Escape the hustle and bustle of daily life and find solace in the beauty of nature. The program provides a rare opportunity to simply “be” in the natural world, allowing for relaxation, rejuvenation, and a renewed sense of well-being.

Connection: Form supportive bonds that last, as you become part of a growing tribe. Share stories, offer support, and build connections with those who understand the unique challenges you face.

We invite you to join us around the fire, no matter if this is the start of your wilderness journey or you are a seasoned tribesmen you are very welcome

Instructions

If you have them please bring the following (if not we have a small supply you can borrow but please let us know in advance.
 
 - sensible footwear  (we are not climbing a mountain but there is some uneven ground in the woodland and working with tools)
 

  • Waterproof coat (with the summer we're having)  
  • Cup / mug  (a normal mug or travel mug is fine)  
  • Camping chair if you have one (we have spares)  
  • Sensible clothing  
  • Any medication or inhalers. etc      We have tea and coffee on offer, but if you want anything specific please feel free to bring it along.     Please check the weather forecast before the session and dress appropriately, we recommend putting on more layers than you normally would.
