Kingfishers - Diving In The Dark - Workshop

Details

This ticket is for exclusive use of the pond hide with a specialist setup in place to capture the motion behind the colourful kingfisher as it dives.

If you are booking the workshop and wish to make 24hrs of it then you can book either the night before or the night after the workshop for a further £50.

The hide is kitted out with a toilet, water and hot drink making facilities and is heated.

Instructions

Meeting at pre-arranged location you will be met by one of the team to show you into the hide and explain all the workings of it including tuition on the flash side of the image. We will spend up to an hour with you to be sure you understand the shot then leave you to shoot all day. If needed we can always pop back too.

The hide is kitted out with steel plates which you can screw your own gimbal or ball head onto for camera support.

We reccomend 300mm lens on a full frame camera for the kingfishers, so anything to a similar focal length.

You will be asked to take your shoes off at the hide as it is carpeted - by all means bring some comfy slippers or clean trainers to change into to keep your feet warm.

The hide is heated, with hot water and a toilet.

Upon booking we will request a £100 deposit. This is non-refundable however we can transfer the £100 onto another session in one of our hides in Lincolnshire up to 14 days before the date. There after the deposit will be lost if you can't make the booked date.
