Return to Your Rested Self
Our Autumn Journey
Eight gatherings from the Autumn Equinox to the Winter Solstice, meeting at each Full Moon and Dark Moon.
There is a quiet power in gathering in circle.
When we come together with openness and curiosity, something emerges that none of us could create alone. The stories, reflections and experiences shared within the circle become mirrors β offering new perspectives, gentle insights, and reminders of the wisdom we already carry.
Within our gatherings, we use a simple talking stick practice to support deep listening. When someone holds the stick, they have the space to share from their own experience, knowing they will not be interrupted, advised or rushed. When they are ready, they pass it on, creating a rhythm of speaking and listening where each person's voice is valued.
Perhaps you've been longing for a place where nothing is expected of you. Somewhere you can arrive exactly as you are. Somewhere to pause, breathe deeply, and reconnect with yourself in the company of others.
This Women's Rest Circle is an invitation to make that journey together.
Led by Emily Druiff, a senior yoga teacher teaching since 2009, this work has grown from many years of exploring movement, creativity, coaching and spaces for reflection and connection.
Emily is an accredited professional coach, Yoga Nidra facilitator and menstruality practitioner. Her work is rooted in the belief that, alongside learning and practice, we also need spaces where we can listen more deeply to ourselves and reconnect with the wisdom we already carry.
Over eight gatherings, weβll meet at each Full Moon and Dark Moon, allowing the rhythm of the moon and the turning of the Wheel of the Year to gently guide us through the changing season.
Inspired by Glennie Kindredβs teachings on the Wheel of the Year, weβll explore this sacred transition from the Autumn Equinox to the Winter Solstice as a journey from balance to surrender, harvest to stillness, and release to renewal.
As the earth begins to slow, weβll slow with it β taking time to notice what is ready to be gathered, what can be gently laid down, and what quiet wisdom begins to emerge when we stop rushing to the next thing.
This isn't about fixing yourself. It's about remembering who you are.
Perhaps that becomes easier when we no longer have to do it alone.
Together weβll create a space where you can be heard, supported, and deeply rested. Held by one another, held by the changing seasons, and held by the cyclical wisdom that reminds us we belong to nature β not apart from it.
Each gathering begins with gentle circle reflection, where youβre invited to share as much or as little as feels right, before moving into simple, nourishing movement and the heart of our practice: Yoga Nidra β a deeply restorative guided meditation practice experienced lying comfortably with the support of props.
Everything we do is an invitation. Youβre encouraged to honour your own inner season and move at a pace that feels right for you.
You may choose to share or simply listen, to move or simply rest. There is nothing to achieve and no right way to take part β just space to soften, be held, and simply be.
This is a small circle (maximum six participants), allowing time to build trust, connection and a genuine sense of community as we journey through the season together.
Each gathering builds upon the last, creating space for reflection, integration and quiet transformation.
