Latin + Ballroom Taster session with Gvanca ✨

Gvanca is a competitive dancer specialising in Ballroom and Latin, dedicated to making dance fun and accessible for everyone!

In this Taster Workshop we’ll explore two contrasting dance styles: the lively Latin Cha Cha Cha and the elegant ballroom Viennese Waltz.

During the Cha Cha Cha section, we’ll focus on steps, footwork, and basic choreography, learning the rhythm and playful energy that make this Latin dance so fun and expressive.

In the Viennese Waltz section, we’ll work on smooth rotations, flow, turns, and posture while learning a simple choreography that captures the elegance of this classic ballroom style.

By the end of the session, dancers will have learned two short and beautiful choreographies, one Latin and one ballroom, that they can take away, practise, and enjoy on their own.

You're welcome to wear Latin dance heels or trainers :)

Important Info

-Please arrive 5-10 minutes before the workshop starts.
-Wear whatever you feel comfortable and confident in, you can bring performance heels if you have them, otherwise trainers is good!
-Bring water!
-You can cancel your tickets up to 48hrs before the workshop and you will be refunded but we will charge 50p per cancelled ticket.
