Himanshi's work is all about creating spaces that celebrate South Asian culture through dance in a way that feels inclusive, empowering, and genuinely fun for everyone! She blends traditional and modern South Asian dance with a focus on confidence, expression, and enjoyment.
For this special workshop, we’ll be dancing to Balam Pichkari! A fun, expressive song that feels AMAZING to move to. We'll also experiment with a special Desi Beats mix that showcases just how theatrical and spicy Bollywood can be 👀
Whether you’re completely new to Bollywood or a regular who loves to move, this workshop is all about coming together, building confidence, and enjoying the energy of dance as a community.
As always, the space is relaxed, welcoming, and pressure-free. There’s no expectation to get it perfect, just come as you are, move your body, and enjoy the music.

-You can cancel your ticket up to 48hrs before the workshop and you will be refunded but we will charge 50p per cancelled ticket. To cancel, head to your booking confirmation email, click View Booking, then Ticket Options, then Cancel Ticket. If you cancel, you'll be sent your refund within 2 business days.

Enter the Bristol Grammar School campus via Gate D at the top of University Road - see photo. (Don’t be tempted to go through the gates halfway up the hill - you’ll get lost. Make sure you’re at the top of University Rd, just before it joins Woodland Rd).
You’ll see a row of brown garages on your right. Walk along these garages toward a set of outdoor stairs.
The building ahead of you is the Owen Room. There is a sign outside. Wait outside the studio for the previous class to finish (or if you’re the 6PM class, go right in!)
