We meet up in Ashford Kent at 12 noon on 10 July 2026 for our 1pm Eurostar to France.
From here we pick the best routes for just under 2 hours to our hotel for the evening, the stunning Royal Hainaut Spa in Valenciennes
Converted from a historical hospital this is a unique and elegant hotel with added WWOW factor!
You can relax in the spa, indoor pool or hit the glass atrium bar, all pre dinner in their French or Italian restaurants

An early start on 11 July sees us make our way to Colroy La Roche, using some of our favourite routes from Branson’s Alpine Blitz ’25, renewing friendships and finding new tarmac to test.
We are now getting into some hills, curves and more testing, challenging & enjoyable routes as we enter the South East of France

We rest tonight at the Five Star La Cheneaudiere Hotel – a Relais & Chateaux property of the highest standards created by the Decker family in the heart of a landscape of preserved valleys in Colroy-la-Roche
The charming house of 45 room house imaginative & generous cuisine in the gourmet restaurant Le Chene or the gastronomic restaurant Le Feuillage which holds a Michelin Star
We will have to tear ourselves away from here. The tempting spas, pool and relaxing areas are like nothing you will have ever experienced
A 2500m spa, 4 swimming pools and 5 saunas will help you relax!

Loud peddle down, we traverse France, perhaps a small part of Germany and into Switzerland, all with the aim of arriving into Verbier around 3.30pm on Sunday 12 July

Enjoy a prepared picnic lunch amidst the stunning mountain scenery, or head to a local mountain restaurant for a traditional Swiss meal on a sunny terrace.

Here at La Lincorne Hotel & Spa on 16 July we discover Timeless elegance in the centre of Troyes in a historic converted building, now housing a luxurious & welcoming Five Star Hotel

La Lincorne is conveniently located at the foot of the Siene Canal, directly opposite the Cite du Vitrail, within easy reach of the prestigious Troyes Cathedral, a splendid alternative to the terrain of Switzerland
Our penultimate day of epic road tour takes us further North for our final overnight in Lille 17 July, at The Clarance Hotel

The Clarance is a 5 Star Boutique Hotel in the heart of Vieux, Lille
The cars are safely tucked up and some of the hotel’s rooms open out onto an enchanting courtyard
The rooms at the rear, look onto an enclosed garden, a small oasis of calm in a lively French City, full of attractive squares, restaurants & bars

Once settled in our final night sees us dining in a Michelin Starred Restaurant in the heart of this vibrant city

Situated on a quiet road just 250m from the main ski lifts, The Lodge is not only the ideal choice for a luxury ski holiday - it is also the perfect Alpine Summer escape.
Verbier is home to a well-equipped sports centre, with large indoor and outdoor swimming pools, squash and tennis facilities and a professional covered ice rink. There are golf courses galore in the area, unrivalled paragliding and endless biking and hiking trails for all abilities.

Party area
It’s certainly time to let your hair down in the party room! You can shoot some pool or dance the night away to thumping tunes all underneath a twinkling disco ball. If you want to take it easy you can pop on a film for you and your friends or family while you enjoy a few drinks from the bar.
Indoor pool and Jacuzzi

Relax those aching muscles in the 12-person Jacuzzi after a day out – it’s heaven! Or just refresh yourself with a dip in The Lodge's 9m heated indoor pool.
Steam room
If you want to relax at the end of the day you can let off some steam in the steam room. It’s also a great way to purify your skin.

Gym
Need a little more stamina? Visit the gym and work out on the treadmill, bike, cross-trainer and free weights station. There is even a plasma screen TV, DVD player and music system to keep you entertained.

Spa treatment room
After an active day on the slopes or hiking in the mountains, there’s a good chance your muscles will be aching after all that effort. Relax and unwind with a treatment in the Virgin Touch Spa in the capable hands of the resident beauty therapist; ask for a detailed list of all our treatments. Treatments are not included in the normal rates.

Dining/lounge area
There’s no better way to enjoy a meal than to gather around the large dining table for some good food and good company. After dinner, you can toast a few marshmallows on the log fireplace or sink into large comfy sofas with a nice cup of hot chocolate before bed…or even something stronger if you like, and enjoy the amazing views through the glass sliding doors leading out to the terrace.
Outdoor terrace/Jacuzzi
You can enjoy the fresh mountain air on the terrace, or even enjoy some bubbles in the Jacuzzi. In summer there’s also a BBQ and bar area and there’s even croquet on the lawn.
