Join us a we celebrate the arrival of Spring in this Yin and Yang yoga workshop.
We will be flowing in to stillness where we first take time to ground ourselves from the week that’s been. To connect to our breath and set an intention for this new season we are entering.
We then explore a dynamic yoga sequence based around building flowing energy (prana) in the body through standing, seated and laying postures and beginner inversions, learning to connect mind, body and breath. The intention here is to be present in your body and mind.
A short break for refreshments and delicious treats and a chance to connect with others.
We then delve into the stillness of Yin with the use of relaxing bolsters and props, where we learn to just ‘be’ and see where it takes us. Letting go is the aim here.
We finish with a beautiful crystal sound bowl meditation. With 7 bowls dedicated to each one of the chakras (energy wheels) you will experience different vibrational frequencies as you allow your body to let go in savasana.
Please feel free to bring a blanket, cosy warm jumper, socks, even a pillow if you like.
Yoga mats will be available to borrow, but please bring your own if you have one as there is a limited number.
During the break we will be offering refreshments and treats, please inform us of any dietary requirements on the booking form.
