Learn what yoga's all about and the core elements you'll need to start your yoga journey in this 4 week course.
You'll learn techniques for some of the most common yoga poses. We'll also explore some different breathing and relaxation techniques that you can take away and do in your day to day life to help you reduce stress. You'll understand what happens in a typical yoga practice (and why!) so you know what to expect when you go to a class.
The 4 week Beginners Course is the perfect way to explore why you need yoga in your life! In a small group setting
Course outline:
Week 1 - Theme: "Grounding", exploring standing poses
Week 2 - Theme: "Stress & Anxiety Relief", exploring forward bends
Week 3 - Theme: "Strengthening", exploring back bends
Week 4 - Theme: "Loving Kindness", exploring chest and shoulder openers
Each Practice is split into the three core parts:
Everything you need to find your zen is provided (mat & props)
Please arrive 5 minutes before so that you have time to settle and are not rushed. There is a class running before so please arrive no earlier than 10:40am
Mat & props provided
Wear comfortable loose clothes that you can move freely in. Layers are always good so you can keep warm (cardigan, hoodie, fluffy socks)
Bring a blanket to cover up in relaxation and a sealed water bottle for comfort breaks.
