Learn what yoga's all about and the core elements you'll need to start your yoga journey in this 6 week course.

You'll learn techniques for some of the most common yoga poses. We'll also explore some different breathing and relaxation techniques that you can take away and do in your day to day life to help you reduce stress. You'll understand what happens in a typical yoga practice (and why!) so you know what to expect when you go to a class.

The 6 week Beginners Course is the perfect way to explore why you need yoga in your life! In a small group setting

Course outline:

Week 1 - Theme: "Grounding", exploring standing poses
Week 2 - Theme: "Stress & Anxiety Relief", exploring forward bends
Week 3 - Theme: "Strengthening", exploring back bends
Week 4 - Theme: "Loving Kindness", exploring chest and shoulder openers
Week 5 - Theme: "Letting Go", exploring hip openers
Week 6 - Theme: "Steadiness & Ease", exploring balance poses.

Each Practice is split into the three core parts:

Breathwork
Physical Movement
Relaxation

*Booking is for the whole 6 weeks course. Please make sure you can attend all sessions before you book *

In the event of a missed session I am unable to offer a refund or transfer.

For the yoga practice:

  • Wear comfortable clothes that you can move freely in
  • Layers are always good (hoody, jumper, socks)
  • Bring a water bottle (no glass please)
  • Bring a blanket to cover up in for relaxation.

I will supply mats and props, just bring yourself with an open mind and heart.
