Workshop - The Radiant Heart Sequence

An opportunity to learn a flowing yoga sequence that lifts the energy of the heart. The benefit of a healthy heart chakra is that joy and love is able to flow effortlessly, both inwardly and outwardly, improving our relationships with others and ourselves.
Because it needs a bit more time to learn, the Radiant Heart Sequence is not one that I teach in my weekly classes. Think the Chair of the Heart pose, the Triangles and the Warriors.
But also think the Karate Warrior and the Mobot (names I’ve coined to remember a couple of the new poses in the sequence!!). I’ll also be introducing the wonderfully balancing Vertical Alignment breath, something I also haven’t taught in class.
We’ll spend time on the individual poses and the breathwork. And then we’ll join everything together into a beautiful flow.
With our hearts lifted, we’ll end the session with a restful, guided relaxation.
Instructions
Please bring a yoga mat and a bottle of water to keep hydrated.
You may also wish to bring a yoga block with you.
To gain the most from the guided relaxation it's good to be warm and cosy. It helps to wear an extra layer of clothing (like a fleece or hoodie) during the relaxation and socks to keep your feet warm. You may want to cover yourself with a blanket, rest your head on a pillow or cushion and use an eye mask if you have one.

The Norton Scout and Guide Centre has its own car park. Parking is FREE.
As you come down Kempton Way, the Scout Centre is the first building on the right.
Take the right turn in front of the Scout Centre to enter the car park.
Please do not confuse the Scout Centre with the one on South Road, Norton.
Use postcode DY8 3AP to reach the correct Scout Centre and car park.
