This workshop is focused on learning to fall out of handstand. A little experience and understanding of handstand is required so if you're unsure if this is suitable for you then please contact Shell (below).
We will practice falling / twisting out of the handstand from the wall and with spotters, taking steps towards feeling more comfortable attempting handstand away from the wall.
This workshop will also cover with warm-up and drills:

There is not one same journey for everyone into a handstand, we all come with different assets and have different areas to work on.

A little more about me:
I've been training handstands since I qualified as a yoga teacher back in 2017, they are an (almost) daily practice for me now. I practice Yoga, Handstands and Acrobatics, so I practice them on the floor and on other people! It's hard work and wonderful at the same time :)
I am very much still on the handstand journey myself, (it's endless!), and I understand the needs of the beginner. Fear has played a huge part in my own journey so I balance that with my Yogic practice, lots of Yin, Yoga Nidra and exercises to help settle my nervous system to stay grounded. There are lots of steps we can take towards the handstand so you feel safe along the way, sometimes it's about building familiarity and trust in a new position.
