Welcome to Norfolk’s Antenatal Hub! Congratulations on your pregnancy and thank you for considering About Birth and Babies for your antenatal education.

Our face to face antenatal courses are held in Norwich at our carefully selected venues in Cringleford and Sprowston, either side of the City Centre.

We recommend you choose a course that ends when you are around 31-36 weeks pregnant as you are considered to be full term from 37 weeks, If you are having a planned caesarean birth, expecting twins, more likely to have an induction of labour, would just like to finish a bit sooner or the dates suit you better then please do select an earlier course.

Our 16 hour face to face antenatal courses are priced at £170. This is for both a pregnant woman and a birth partner to attend. All courses include a postnatal reunion with the other parents on your course. The date of which will be agreed once the course starts.

Hypnobirthing essentials are included on all our courses, but if you would like to benefit from guided visualisations and further discussion around birth choices, please get in touch about booking a private session.

Please don't hesitate to contact us if you would like some help with course selection or have any further questions. It’s important that you feel comfortable with anybody caring for you during pregnancy and early parenthood. This includes your antenatal teacher!
