We continue to train candidates at our Bibra Lake facility with the following precautionary measures and guidance from the local government:
• Disinfect all equipment at the end of each course ready for continued use;
• Social distancing is encouraged in classroom and training area where possible;
• Masks are to be worn in line with local government guidence, the wearing of the masks can be relaxed when carrying out physical activities and when giving safety-related communication:
• Continue to use dummies for rescue training; and
• Encourage the continued use of hand sanitizer throughout the day and use of gloves as required.
Logbooks
Applus+ is obliged to remind you of the following IRATA TACS Clause. (Reference Clause 4.3.4)
• Rope access Technicians who are upgrading or revalidating shall provide their logbooks to the IRATA Trainer member company prior to the start of training.
• After booking, you will be prompted to upload this to the Trainer. No Logbook, No Training, No Assessment - unless formally approved by IRATA.
• Where rope access Technicians have lost their logbooks, they shall arrange for a replacement to be issued, completed, and verified before training commences.
